There's no such thing as a "fake DJ'". Are they playing songs? Then they're a real DJ. Full stop. There's nothing more to that title. You're a _disc jockey,_ you play songs. Now, if you want to remix or beat match or add vuvuzela sounds live, feel free, but: 1. It doesn't make you any more "real". 2. The audience neither knows nor gives a fuck. They don't care if you queued up a Spotify playlist or are writing the songs on the spot. It ain't that kinda gig, my friend. *"It's better to be a bad DJ than a fake DJ."* For the love of god, no. If I hook my phone up to the PA and kick off a playlist of track the audience loves then head back to the bar, then I'm a great DJ, because that's literally the only requirement. You can pretend to manipulate knobs or you can _actually_ manipulate knobs, but neither is relevant to whether you're a good DJ, because the _audience_ doesn't give a shit.

I’ve been DJ’ing for almost 2 decades now. Never hated on Fisher. Why? Because his energy was needed in the DJ scene, he brought the whole god damn business to a new level with his energy. 🚀 also he can actually DJ the shit out of you for hours if he wants to - but, there’s a difference in throwing a perfomance and DJ’ing. He needs to be the brand “Fisher” when booked for 1-1,5 hour sets, jumping around, being wild etc. but he’s been doing 5-7 hour gigs during his career too many times😁 he can indeed DJ, but then wouldn’t be able to perform the same way on massive stages.

I count 4 decks on Afrojack's clip. He can't blame the CDJ unless the other 2 decks were for show🤔

That should be a jail-able crime. Think what you would do if your plumber or plasterer or even doctor was pretending to do work that you paid for... How pissed off would you be, because that's fraud. I have personally seen many DJ's doing fake sets, including the largest DJ's in the world, and I told my friends that he was playing someone else's mix, because I've heard it before, everything was identical, I'm pretty sure that's why they have them high up and out of view, so you don't see the fraud. If I host an event, I would let the DJ's know if we catch them faking it, a bullet will go whizzing through their heads. Don't scam people that pay good money for you to do a f**king job.

only problem with pioneer is that no soundcard, which is kinda the most important thing there. haven't used it with mobile though so dunno if you can get all the outputs correctly still.

I used eurodance hits from 90s, in a nonstop 1 hour long mix, and it got blocked worldwide... what a bullcrap. Ofc that I had to use big hits from 90s, as that was supposed to be "the best of best" mix, not some random ED crap slapped together... but apparently its impossible to do it anymore.

Last time I checked all that is needed to mix track A to track b is 1 crossfader. What da helll are all these buttons being pressed about

I still think remixing should fall under transformative content cause you’re effectively taking a song and changing the elements like speed, adding in reverb or extracting the vocals and adding in a different beat or melody essentially making the song a bit different from it’s original state.

I can't believe you can get away with not playing live. When did that become a thing? To be fair, it says more about crowds than DJ's. Crowds are taking personalities over the music. They don't have to read the crowd anymore. They don't have to get into any zones where each track just comes to you. You don't even need to be able to mix. And don't get me started on 'mashups'. Putting an acapella over a different instrumental was/is something we do live. Now people are getting praise for spending ages making one on a computer.

I've had my ue megablast since 2018 and I use it all the time too this day I use it when I bbq or go camping or just want to blast music in the kitchen! I like the fact I can listen to any song I want on prime! Still works perfectly after 5 years

FYI the 1080p output didn't work for me on many attempts... it just created a large mp4 file that wasn't playable, but no problems exporting same project in 720p

Game changer. 90% of my riddim tracks from SoundCloud are not beatmatched to the grid. I’ve gotten really good at visually seeing kicks in the waveform and lining up by ear but this is going to make my life a lot easier

This isn't even entertainment and it's not a real instrument! It doesn't require the kind of skill and practice that say, a guitar player would need. I can't believe that people are such sheep that they just blindly follow these tards. My God, people are stupid.

with Digital dj'ing it make's it way easy to make the crowd think you have skills but your just using the different effects looping and other gizmo's decks and mixers have to make it look more skill than what it actually is bring back Vynil weed out the not much skill from real talent (just an openion of course :) )
